As part of a residency with arts>World Financial Center, New York Classical Theatre will be using an empty storefront at One New York Plaza as the production studio for their 2010 season. Throughout March, members of the public can watch the company prepare for their April 1–18 staging of William Shakespeare’s
Hamlet, Prince of Denmark, getting a peek behind the scenes via an open house and lunch-time talks with the creative staff.
From March 2-25, visitors can also catch public rehearsals amid the hustle and bustle of the World Financial Center, whose 3.5-acre street and lobby levels will be the set for the sprawling production.
